As part of the ongoing effort between the U.S. and British militaries to strengthen interoperability and enhance their alliance, the U.S. Army's 1st Armored Division officially welcomed British Brig. Gen. Frazer Lawrence as its new deputy commanding general for operations. He is the first non-U.S. military officer to hold this position.
